Border Oak Covid Update
As the coronavirus situation changes we will continue to adapt and maintain our services as best we can. We thought we would briefly update you on how we are working at the present time.
We are working at full capacity across all sectors - with most staff based in the office, on site and in the workshop, and a few working from home.
The safety of our clients, visitors and staff is foremost in our minds - so we have adapted our processes to enable us to keep working and minimise the risks as best we can.
We are fortunate that most of our building sites, the office & workshops are able to be made as Covid Secure as possible. The stringent measures we have already taken have been working well since March, and we will vary these in line with the Govt. recommendations as they change.
Sadly we have had to postpone all Open Days and our usual calendar of public events, including shows and exhibitions. We do understand that this is frustrating, however we are offering individual viewings of our show home wherever possible, for those who have active projects (i.e those who have a building plot). So if you would like to come and meet us and to see our show house, please do get in touch and we can discuss the options and arrange this for you. There are only a few appointments available each day so that we can sanitise the spaces in-between - currently we are booking approximately a week in advance.
Due to the various regional tiers in place at any one time sadly we cannot arrange or hold meetings if you are coming from a restricted area - until the restrictions are lifted and travel is allowed. Do let us know if you have concerns about your visit and we will help gauge the situation. If your area is placed under restrictions you must contact Border Oak to let us know.
All visits to the office are STRICTLY by appointment - we operate a 'locked door' system and will be taking temperatures on arrival, directing visitors to hand washing facilities, taking track and trace information and limiting the number of visits we can operate within each day. The protocol information for each meeting will be sent to you in advance and will be continuously reviewed. We hope this helps reassure you that you will be safe while visiting, and that we can keep Border Oak staff safe too.
If you cannot visit us for any reason we are very, very happy to do all we can to send you the information you need, set up Zoom consultations or answer any questions by phone, email or carrier pigeon - just get in touch and we will do our best during these strange times.
Our design team are still able to arrange meetings to view your plots (in unrestricted areas) but are mindful that at the moment there are some areas that we cannot travel to. There are alternative options though, so if you have a plot with planning permission, a replacement dwelling project or a positive pre app do get in touch and we can discuss the best way forward for you.
If you have any questions about how we are working just let us know.
Best wishes
The Border Oak team
